It Is (2014) - This horror film that follows a young girl that is being chased by an ethereal spirit that can appear in any human form is a captivating and atmospheric look at. The direction by David Robert Mitchell is masterful while the soundtrack created by Disasterpeace are both disturbing and beautiful. The performance by the ensemble as well as the singer, in particular Maika Monroe, (blog post) are all fantastic.
